BANSURI GANESHA

The Lladro Bansuri Ganesha is the second in a series comprising four pieces inspired in the traditional iconography of this Hindu god. This one plays a long flute called bansuri, an ancient musical instrument associated with cow herds and the pastoral tradition, intimately linked to the love story of Krishna and Radha. The usual attributes from Ganesha's iconography are present: the gada (or mace), the paasha (noose or rope), and the broken tusk.
