Our history

A foundation over 70 years old motivates the family-owned and operated Bhindi Jewelers. We maintain the highest standards while always pushing to better ourselves for the benefit of the communities we have had the pleasure of building a place in.

BEGINNINGS

BEGINNINGS

The story of Bhindi can be traced back to Suva, Fiji, where the original modest showroom began in 1929. A fifth-generation goldsmith and emigrate from India, Karsanji Bhindi's ideals of sharing his craft of fantastic, quality pieces along with exceptional customer service have imparted themselves in the soul of Bhindi Jewelers. His dream was to always provide beautiful jewelry and timepieces to the communities he was proud to serve. With business success in Fiji, Karsanji's three sons, Vinod, Jayent, and Dhanesh, expanded to North America.

UPRISING

UPRISING

The three brothers opened a location in Vancouver, Canada in 1975 before seizing an opportunity to expand further to Southern California. They made their home and new base for business in “Little India†Artesia, California during 1985. The family business was again successful in the new location and over the course of the next 10 years opened a showroom in Atlanta, Georgia and San Francisco, CA. In 2013, the fourth location in Glendale, CA

EXPANSION

The Artesia and Glendale showrooms boost an intimate Rolex experience within each of their over 1000-sq ft beautiful displays with the latest model timepieces for men and women. Currently we have three generations of experience and eight trained family members working on our staff. We ensure to uphold the quality that has always been the Bhindi Jewelers standard. We will continue to strive for the best for our customers and upgrade our showrooms to maintain the luxurious experience our customers have come to expect.
