A Family Affair

The Bhindi story began over seventy years ago, when our founder Karsanji Bhindi, a fifth-generation goldsmith, left India to start a modest showroom in the Fijian city of Suva.

Building on his success, Karsanji's three sons, Vinod, Jayant and Dhanesh, decided to expand the business to North America, where they opened Bhindi’s first location in Vancouver, Canada in 1975. Then in 1984, the brothers saw an opportunity for growth in the diverse community of Artesia, California. Starting with a 700- square foot showroom, Bhindi quickly became a household name in the South Asian community. Shortly after, the brothers opened a store in San Francisco in 1987 and Atlanta in 1995. Their latest endeavor was a beautiful multi-brand store in the vibrant city of Glendale, California in 2013.

With thriving Bhindi Jewelers showrooms in four very different cities, Bhindi’s commitment to customer service is what unifies each location. The third generation of the Bhindi family, Sanat, Ketan, Ronil and Ashwin, have now joined the family business and have brought new ideas and innovations to the Bhindi experience. Keeping with that tradition, we also consider our team of sales associates as a true part of our extended family, and we know they will pass that same welcoming energy on to you.

Rolex watches, too, are crafted from the finest raw materials and assembled with scrupulous attention to detail. Every component is designed, developed, and manufactured to the most exacting standards.

Bhindi proudly became an Official Rolex Jeweler in 1998 and has a strong dedication to the success of this partnership. Over the years we have elevated our in-store experience to capture the true magic of the Rolex brand. We have revamped our Artesia shop-in-shop down to the most intricate details to allow us to showcase this amazing collection of luxury timepieces. Our Glendale location has taken it a step further, housing a Rolex-trained watchmaker – an innovation that transformed us from a watch retailer to a full-service watch haven.

Both the Glendale and Artesia locations feature luxurious custom-built Rolex showrooms that allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the brand’s history. Each store also has a designated Hospitality Manager on hand to ensure your experience is seamless, unhurried, and memorable.

An Enduring Relationship

Bhindi’s goal is to work with our clients in not only choosing the right Rolex but also assisting in the continued care of their family heirlooms for generations to come. As an Official Rolex Jeweler, Bhindi provides a five-year Rolex international warranty on all new Rolex watches in our Artesia or Glendale locations. We are also authorized to receive your Rolex watch for any needed servicing.

To ensure your continued confidence, our staff has the expertise and equipment to adjust the bracelet or strap of your watch to the perfect size and maximize your comfort. On metal bracelets, we can add or remove any links as necessary.

Before you leave our store, we will fully wind the watch, set the time, date and day, check the functions and verify the tightness of the crown.
