Inspired by the original Rado Captain Cook from 1962, this model is a 39mm version of a Rado best-seller. The vintage dive-watch look of the original returns, enhanced by lustrous colours. The stainless steel bracelet sports rice grain middle links coated with yellow gold-coloured PVD, a perfect complement to the polished stainless steel case, yellow gold-coloured PVD turning bezel and polished green high-tech ceramic insert. The box-shaped sapphire crystal, anti-reflective on both sides, frames a splendid black-to-green gradient dial with Super-LumiNova? highlights on the applied indexes and yellow gold-coloured hands. The watch is powered by the Rado calibre R763, a 25-jewel, three-hand automatic movement with an antimagnetic Nivachron? hairspring, for enhanced reliability and accuracy exceeding standard requirements (tested in five positions). Water-resistant to 30 bar (300m), the 39mm diameter case in stainless steel complements the existing 37mm and 42 mm case sizes, extending the appeal of the Captain Cook range to accommodate wrists of all sizes.
